Foresight NetZero Live 2024 is a high-level international meeting bringing together industry leaders aiming to remove and reduce their carbon footprint. Entering its 4th year, the two-day conference, exhibition and networking event takes place at the DoubleTree Hilton in Hull on June 12th and 13th.
The North East of England and the Humber Region provides a perfect backdrop for an event of this nature due it’s large-scale industrial activity and potential investment across decarbonisation technologies. The conference and exhibition will serve as a dynamic platform for thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and innovators to converge and exchange ideas on cutting-edge solutions for achieving a NetZero future.
Attendees will be representing energy intensive sectors such as iron & steel, cement, glass, paper & pulp, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, refining, food & drink, ceramics, energy, construction, ports and transport alongside project developers and a range of NetZero solution providers.
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen said: “Our area is leading the way in developing world-first Net Zero projects which are delivering the next generation of skills and investment to transform our local economies.
“We are proud to be sponsoring Foresight NetZero Live as events such as this are essential in ensuring we continue to lead the agenda while making clear how our businesses can benefit from the opportunities from a Net Zero future.”
Eric Lewis from Foresight Events noted “The aim of the event is to promote the latest projects, technology and innovation to modernise and transform industrial processes and Tees Valley Combined Authority are an excellent example. We look forward to highlighting their recent investments and projects at the event.”
